Great recipe that we received from Mamas Boy in Athens Georgia!
- 70 g kosher salt
- 170 g baking powder
- 4000 g all purpose flour
- 3# butter
- 3 quarts buttermilk
Cook Time: 12-15 minutes
- Mix dry first & then butter until pea like consistency. Then add buttermilk last & do not mix for more than a minute.
- Knead quickly and roll out half size you want to rise.
- Cut biscuits & lay right next to each other bake on 425 for 12-15 minutes.
- You can add melted butter to top before baking for golden brown top.
